Please note that donations will never be used to cover physician travel expenses, which will be borne by the physicians themselves. Donations may be used to help purchase cryostats, surgical instruments, other equipment, and books for indigent surgery clinics abroad. They may also be used to cover the expenses of nurses or histotechnologists traveling with the group. Please note that to avoid even the appearance of any conflict of interest, the Blade and Light Society does not accept donations from companies that manufacture, market, or distribute dermatologic drugs or devices.
